Trackable results we’ve achieved for  Wahl

The Challenge

Wahl originally came to us in 2019 to help them develop a comprehensive marketing strategy. This piece of work then led on to further social-first video and content production projects, as well as paid social campaign management. 

This time, Wahl trusted us to launch their collaboration with Peaky Blinders on social media, producing a large amount of content and managing the campaign to ensure we targeted the correct customers in time for Father’s Day.

The big challenge was that all content had to be approved by the BBC’s Peaky Blinders production team as part of the collaboration agreement. This meant that we needed to ensure that the videos and images we produced were precisely on-brand and extremely high quality.

Our scripts and edited videos / images were approved by the Peaky Blinders licensing team super quickly which was an amazing result! We were able to launch the campaign for Wahl promptly, allowing us to reach the target market in time for Father’s Day.

The Solution

The Knowlton team researched the production of Peaky Blinders extensively to ensure that we nailed the branding and that our output met the BBC’s quality standards.

We knew we needed to target gift-buyers for Father’s Day across a variety of social platforms, including Wahl’s website, YouTube, Instagram Reels and Facebook, so we planned to shoot versatile content that looked perfect in both landscape and vertical aspect ratios.
